Versus Soccer League would like to welcome you to the league. Firken Beaches came out strong yesterday in their debut winning 6-1. Their performance definately may have frightened some teams and since the defending champs North York Stoppers have not returred the VS Title is up for grabs.

As the Spring League is underway the well know Yagerbombs have decided to change their name to their alter ego Chaos. Hoping that this change would bring them luck this season they have also added some depth on the team by signing Lisa Da Silva and Megan Serra to their roster. Both players had immediate impact with goals in their debut.

Honorable mentions to all returning players as they all contributed to the win. Tanya Mastuoka, a solid defender who was a game time call up made it very difficult for the Ball Busters forwards as the struggled to release any shots. Melissa Raposo had a tremodous game showing off her new moves but came up short as she was unable to put the ball in the back of the net. Sabrina Filomeni playing with a injured quad started the game in net but returned to the middle half way through the second contributing to the fourth goal in the 4-2 victory.
